Hi eamonn,

I believe you 'crop' the images so that they may appear together and
eliminate blank space. Somebody with sight will need to do this, I'd say.

Subject: [vicsireland] a question re scanning and saving imatges

Hi folks,

I have a handwritten pocket diary i wish to scan and save on my pc.

I'm using an Epson conbo unit consisting of a scanner, printer and
photocopier, with Epson software.

When I scan two facing pages, the handwriting appears in the top left
corner, in the Epson program. Not surprisingly though, (as the diary is a
fraction the size of the scanning plate,) the majority of the image is
blank. Can this blank portion of the image be removed?

Also, is it possible to save images to Word, while appending documents? In
other words, while it would take 14 scans to scan entries for February,
for example, could those images be saved in one file?

It's probably a long shot, given the visual nature of the query, but
thanks in advance for any help..

Regards,

Eamonn
