Hi I have used iBooks to read PDF documents and novels from the
iBooks collection essentially when you open iBooks tap and library tap on the
book you have downloaded a window will open showing the title of the book and
then the main window showing the text of the page below that you will see the
page number and if you flick once more you will see a combo box where you can
change the page number and flick back to the page want to read after changing
the page number you can read the text using either of the options by word by
sentence by character which is very handy in that you can check out a word if
you don’t understand it The three finger flick up will read a page continuously
and sometimes it will keep reading from page to page in the case of novel I
can’t confirm that you can go into edit mode and copy and paste X to another
application as I have not tried it out yet hope this helps
