Hi Pauline,

Try this,

1. Go into your MS Outlook Inbox.
2. Press the "Application key or keys, "shift + f10" to open up a shortcut
menu.
3. Arrow down to, "Rules" and right arrow in here then arrow down to
"Manage rules and alerts" and press enter.
4. Tab over to a list where any rules relating to messages that are going
into your deleted items folder are or should be contained.
5. Arrow down through this list until you come to any rule in that list you
would not want to keep.
6. Once you have the rule selected, tab around till you come to the "Delete
button" and press spacebar, you may or may not get a warning asking if you
are sure you want to delete this rule, tab to the "Yes or OK button" and
press spacebar to remove it completely. Repeat the same steps for any other
rule in the list you want to get rid off.

Paul.

Paul, thank you for the steps you sent me. Are microsoft outlook and
outlook express different settings? Imust be very ignorant but I am using
microsoft outlook so the steps you gave me do not work. Could you send me
on the relevant moves please. Again thank you for your help. Pauline N

Hi Pauline,

Try the following;

1. While in Outlook Express, open the Tools menu, "Alt + T".
2. Arrow down to the "Message Rules Sub menu" and right arrow in here.
3. Arrow down to the "Blocked Senders List" and press enter key.
4. If you have anything in here which resembles names like the VIP lists
group then press the delete key on it to remove it from here as anything in
here is classified as junk and will be removed from your inbox.

Paul.

Hi all, for the past few weeks my emails from the vips list are going into
my junk box, even though I havent changed any settings, all other messages
are going into the inbox. I can read the messages in the junk box but I
would be interested to know what is going on. Thanks for any enlightment
on the problem. Pauline N.
