Hi all,
Just to add to Cearbhall,s points...
There was an interesting article on an NVDA podcast recently, looking
forward to the release of Open Office 4.1

This will hopefully be a big improvement in the accessibility of Open
Office and will hopefully both benefit NVDA users on Windows and Orca
users on LINUX.

With regard to the question about the old PC...
It is presumably running Windows XP at present. Windows 7 may run
okay on the machine, but as Cearbhall says, this would depend on the
spec.

Ubuntu might also run but again, it depends on the spec.
