Hi Darragh!
Well, not sure if there aren't easier ways, but a VBA routine would
certainly work.
You could call the individual files in a for each command, or if the
paths differ, create a while loop and at the end assign the next file
name to a variable. The search and replace mechanism is a simple matter
of if then else.
I say simple, but I'd say it would probably take me more than half a day
to compile the thing.
So if you have both time and inclanation...
Cheers,
Robbie

Subject: [vicsireland] searching through multable text files

Hello again,

I need to do a search and replace through multable text files
recursively using Windows. Can someone suggest how this might be done?

Thanks
