Good job Eamonn, I'll forward your mail to Natasha, our web designer. Probably not on the home page, but our links page is in need of updating; thanks for getting the ball rolling!

Subject: [vicsireland] some websites of interest

Hi folks,

Jusst a line about a couple of websites which may be of interest. I'm
sure most on the list will already be aware of them, but there may
be a few who aren't.

Perhaps the committee might like to consider putting links to some of
these sites on the VICS home page?

Regards,

Eamonn

BLIND-GEEK-ZONE:

Firstly: a line about a most interesting website, hosted by rick Harmon.
It covers such areas as:
Audio tutorials, programs, blindness-related mailing lists, links and
websites of interest.

Rick has produced multi-part tutorials on GoldWave and Nero Burning Rom,
which may be found on his, or the blind cool tech site.

Rick harmon’s website:

JFWLITE:

Originally a mailing list for JAWS users, the site is no longer updated,
since the untimely death of it's founder, Debbie Scales. Nevertheless, it
continues to be a most valuable resource, covering such areas as:
Programs and scripts, helpful hints, training and tutorials, and links to
members's homepages

and finally, folks:

EMPOWERMENT ZONE:

The following site is particularly aimed at American users, but, still has
some interesting links and information.

citizenship

to highlight in this site.
