If I already sent this email message, please disregard lol.

Assignment of sorts: Write/record/etc. why you joined WSMAC. Do you have
close calls to share? Were you or someone you know/knew injured/killed?
Were you/they in a crosswalk if/when the incident happened?

I will be writing and posting my close calls, plus the hit-and-run death of
my best friend last year, as well as a recent incident with a wonderful
friend who's also a member of the Committee. The biggest clincher for me to
found WSMAC came during the MEDOT Forum held in 2017. Statistics showed
that in the year 2014 there were 16 pedestrian accidents/fatalities; in the
past year, that number has jumped to 21 IN MAINE ALONE!!

These numbers, in my opinion, need to be drastically lowered if not
stopped. It takes all of us to get this goal done!

Anyway, that's my thought to help spread the word through WSMAC. I look
forward to reading your stories/comments, and possibly share with the
public...with your permission of course.

Any questions, comments, etc. feel free to email me at
leeleeprince51@xxxxxxxxx.

Thanks! Leelee
