change I have to press APPLY to hear the results. Is there any easier or
more direct way so any change will be automatically applied e.g. after 1
second or even immediately, as soon as the value stays constant for some
time, e.g. 400ms? Any ideas? Would be cool having such an auto-setting,
somewhere.
I recently realized it's a lot less expensive than I started out thinking
because you only need to keep track of which FFT results are being used by
any notes, and then recompute those first. A long time ago my absurd plan
was to just do all (octaves * notes-per-octave) huge FFTs like some kind of
benchmark junkie but it was never necessary. So it was on the shelf with a
half dozen other plans...
The sad irony is that in between the rosacea and the fact that I move metal
bits around for quite a lot of all the time I'm awake, I am much closer to
*being* a pink robot these days :/
