Yes, that exactly what I was going to say.
For example seq24 doesn't support JACK MIDI, but ALSA.
Yes, I know I can used a2jmidid, but I just recently found that there's a
way to expose separate seq24 midi ports in ALSA, before that the only way
that I knew to connect MIDI devices in seq24 was through ALSA.
