The latest version of 'master' on github now has all the ALSA improvements.
There is a possible problem with some forms of 24 bit cards, so if anyone sees
this please let us know.
There is also a minor policy change. From now on 'master' builds will display
an 'M' suffix on the version number - I've been caught out by this myself!
Tomorrow evening UK time, I go 'off grid' for a week travelling around the
North of England and Scotland, so anyone in those areas had better rig for lots
of rain :)
If Sourceforge comes properly on-line again before then, I'll push the latest
commits there.
