The current master is now marked as a release candidate.
Program changes should now be fully synchronous regardless of where they come
from (that inclued things like vector control).
With extrmely large buffer sizes there will be a noticable delay - but then
there will also be a delay with everything else!
I've done pretty exhaustive tests, including with yoshimi as an LV2 plugin, and
not seen any problems so far. I'll keep trying for a few days and would be
grateful if other people would give it a workout too.
