I started my happy dance a little too early as it would seem there is
at least one JS snag remaining in 0.060pre8 and thats when using
multiple instances of yosh- at least on my setup. I know one yosh
instance can handle multiple parts/ channels but that way you only
have one set of JACK outputs too, hence my need for multiple
instances.
If I have 2 instances of yoshimi connected to A3 and stored via
pyjacksm, when I restore the session only the JACK MIDI connection to
the first instance gets restored. JACK audio connections and
instrument selection get restored for both however. How about you Al?
The other bit of good news I forgot in my last post is that you can
swap out one major JACK version for another without recompiling all
your JACK apps- thanks to Torben for that time saving nugget!
