Just tried 0.0.60 pre8 under DreamStudio (Maverick 32) with JACK 2
upgraded to latest svn w/ latest pyjacksm and A3 and I'm getting the
same result as before- JACK MIDI doesn't get connected but audio does
when I load a session. I'm not saying this is yoshimi's fault as I
think it is more likely pyjacksm that needs fixing. I hope it does get
fixed as I don't like using qjack for session management, Rui says he
won't add a 'proper session save' option mode to qjack (ie you need to
specify a folder to save into every time you want to save) and we
don't have any good LV2 softsynths yet so I see this path (pyjacksm)
as the only non-tedious way to create electronic music under Linux.
Well it could be if it worked properly :/
In fact things are even worse now under Maverick as it seems fltk has
probs- nothing happens when you click on a menu until you drag your
mouse down and then the menu appears. Same thing happens with zyn from
the official repos.
I'll try again with Maverick and JACK 1 svn soon as I get a chance
