Well almost, but not quite. Will's kind diligence on panning led to a
mini saga. The ADnote panning in particular was primitive, clumsy, and
to my tastes plain wrong. That led to me touching up every pan point I
could find, so it'd be fair to say that panning has indeed changed. I
want to spend some more time with it, but so far I like it.
I've also incorporated Allessandro's notion regarding state save. The
idea has merit, it's inexpensive, it's in. It just might become the
resolution to "What to do with the old 'Parameters' facility?" in 0.062.
Some time soon I'll put it on sourceforge in case anyone has the time
& inclination to give it a whirl. I'm optimisitic.
