Possibly the main reason for it's existence is that I felt a need to put a copy
of what exists somewhere safe. And being the weekend, maybe I can outsource some
of the rudimentary testing.

Sending some of the new midi CC messages to yoshimi (via alsa midi)
did not show an effect. Do I have to do anything special to make
yoshimi respond?

There's a couple of possibilities here. First, the instrument your trying to
tweak
will need to be actually using the filter element you're tweaking. The second is
that is spite of how I've read things, the code doesn't actually tweak the
correct
internal variables in order to achieve the desired effect. Both of those are
equally possible.

One thing I found:
I get a somewhat reproducable segfault:

fire up yoshimi, select 'Echo' as a system effect or insertion effect,
fiddle around with the 'Delay' knob or the 'LRdl.' knob, have a bit of
bad luck and this causes the segfault.

Thanks for that, I'll go exploring.

cheers.
