FWIW the SubSynth section works by filtering white noise, and you select which
harmonics you want to hear, and also the bandwidth

By default the bandwidth is very narrow so you get pretty much sinewaves, but
widen it and you get literally a band of frequencies. This is very useful
when
you want to get breathy sounds.

OK, thanks a lot for the clarification. I will try later in the evening
when I get home. Let's see if I can get one of those breathy sounds.
