In other words, the only way you can use a 32bit version of jaws is to use a 32bit operating system. You can install a 32bit os on 64bit hardware but not run the 32bit jaws when you have a 64bit widnows installed.

Hi all.
If you have the JAWS DVD, it will detect the platform and automatically install the appropriate version for you. If not, then you will have to download the version of JAWS according to your platform. So in this case Janet, you will either need to simply insert the DVD or download the 64 bit version of JAWS 12. No 32 bit version of JAWS will work on a 64 bit operating system.
Take care.

Hi all, would it be OK to put a 32bit version of JAWS on a laptop running a
64bit version of Windows 7? I'm guessing it would be but just want to check
before I install it. It is JAWS 12.
