Hi all.

I'm considering a new laptop and going down the full 64 bit route.

Having just spoken to a tech support chap, I was told that you can run 32
bit applications on a full 64 bit machine with 64 bit win7 on it.

I seem to remember a post last week contradicting this advice, so what is
the actual answer to this, please?

Can 32 bit applications be run on a full 64 bit system or not?

Are there any other pitfalls to watch out for by going 64 bit windows7? Any
makes to recommend or avoid?

Regards,
