Hi List.

I'm going through the steps of putting together a new desktop PC, and I'd 
appreciate some input from the more knowledgeable on one thing. 

Is there any real benefit in opting for 6GB of RAM over 4? 

It'll be for a 64 bit Win 7 Home Premium computer, with a Intel Core i5 2500K 
processor. If that helps! And there won't be any gaming or the like going on 
either.
