Just as an aside, I was about to say the if you're using Thunderbird, then it'll automatically configure all the settings just from your email address. However, I tried it with a random @virginmedia.com address and it put imap.googlemail.com in the settings. But then I found someone in their forums 4 years ago saying that the Thunderbird ISPDB was out of date for Virginmedia. So.... does anyone know the score on that? I always tend to avoid ISP's own email - it just ties you to an account which is tricky to move when you change ISP. Stick with gmail or something - you can still use IMAP, but your address will never change :) On 11 February 2015 at 09:09, Carol.Pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx < carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Thanks Mo. > > I so appreciate you finding me a suitable page.
