Steve,

Your view was exactly what I was after - thank you.

FYI - From 1 April till 1 November this site was totally inaccessible, and it has only been by continuing debate with the TOC that we now have a site that would appear to have any resemblence of accessibility.

Should anyone else viewing the site using anything other than JFW or WE disagree though it would be very interesting to learn of your views - Any Talking Point users that would be interested in commenting?

Thanks once more

Best regards

Hi Colin,

I personally dislike messages like this one, they are too vague. Why have
you brought up this web site in particular? Taking a brief look at it with
Window-Eyes and IE 7, it is perfectly accessible, even to the point of
altering font size, text size, etc, so they have obviously made some effort.
What prompted you to "look" at it, and have these debates?

What would be more interesting, is if you told us, if anything, the bits you
felt were not accessible, so we could look at those. Just saying can you
look at a web site for accessibility, is not that useful, since there are
probably hundreds of links on a web site such as this one. Or are you
asking about the timetable functions, which I haven't looked at?

Thanks, and more info please!

All the best

Hello,

I'd be ever so grateful if group members would take a look at
www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk I've been having an ongoing debate with them
ever since they took over the franchise from Thameslink in April this year,
re: accessibility of web sites.

Would people take a look at their convenience and let me have some of their
views?

Thank you most kindly

Best wishes
