Hi,

Before you press enter on the SAndD shortcut, first highlight the icon called "SAndD" and then press your application key or if you have none then use keys, "Shift + F10". From the resulting menu arrow down to "Run as administrator" and press the enter key at this point. Answer "Yes" to the security prompt and now Spybot Search and destroy will open up in admin mode.

Paul.

Hi All

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

I’ve just done a full scan with Spybot S&D and when I tried to fix the errors found it told me I wasn’t the Administrator and to elevate my status to enable the fixes to be made. I am the single user of this computer so not too sure what is meant here. How do I actually become the Administrator?

Many thanks

Roger
