hi Mo, I was just going to message you again. Not sure what happened. I was
using NVDA and the link would not work, but when I tried downloading the link
using jaws15, the files downloaded no problem. Its really baffling, but thanks
for the program. It should help with the flash problem, trying to install flash
before was a pure pain, but now it looks, thanks to the program you told us
about, well it might just be easier thanks, Billy

      hello roger.

Yes, there is a very nice alternative. its the alternative flash auto
updator which downloads and updates flash for you. its fully accessible and its
helped me out on a few occasions. its pretty straight forward to use, just
leave everything set at the defaults. when prompted for an update in future,
run it and click on check and update and that should pull in the latest version
of flash for you. if you want to double check the version before and after, you
may have to use the jaws curser on the updates tab as that tells you what
version's installed and when you click update, what version's been installed.
the link is:

      cheers,

      Mo.

        Morning All

I received that dreaded message a few days ago telling me to update
Flash Player. It comes with so much spam it should be made illegal. It took me
4 attempts to get it installed and then ages to uninstall the unwanted programs
it insisted on installing.

Is there not an alternative to this nightmare?

        Roger
