MessageDon't know about clarity, Colin, but I can find the Pro on several
web-sites, and I believe I saw one in Carphone Warehouse 6 or 8 weeks ago. In
its earlier days I believe there were delays in supply because of the Japanese
earthquake. There may be another delay now until you can walk out of the shop
with a Pro supplied with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which is supposed to be
happening in April.

One Android list is the Google Eyes-Free list.

Warning: high volume list, and how!

  Hi Debbie and all,
I have been out looking and can only find the Pro Mini and not the Pro which
I can find on the web but am only getting blank looks off the people in the
shops I have popped into when asking for the pro.
I like the mini but for some reason I think it is too small not sure why.
It would appear that the pro only came out in the autume so cannot believe it
is discontinued already?
Can anyone offer any clarity on this please.

Also can someone provide the joining mail for the Android Accessability list
please

  Many thanks

  Colin

    Hi Colin

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is readily available which runs the latest Android
operating system ICS Android 4.0. This phone is VI accessible straight out of
the box. Many other Android phones will be receiving the ICS update in the
next few months including the Sony Experia Pro and Mini Pro which I have.
These two phones also have hardware keyboards unlike the Samsung Galaxy Nexus
I happily use the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro with gingerbread (android
2.3). I use mobile Accessibility which is available from Code Factory. There
are also two free screen readers on the Android operating system Spiel and
talkback which are free to download from the Android Market and are very good.

    Debbie

      Hi Folks,
I am now being offered a phone upgrade at work as they all continue to use
      blackberry.
I can put it off for a couple of months as I recall mention of an upgrade
coming to I think Android accessability in early summer.
I am not interested in I phones and currently still use an N86 and know I
have to move on at some point.
Did I dream this upgrade / launch or can anyone give me further details.
      Thanks
      Colin .
