anyone thinking of getting broadbandlinked to a phone line package should
also look at onetel which seems good value to me although I haven't
compared it with pipex. Onetel is certainly much cheaper than b.t. Alan.

package?

I've just been looking at aPipex Christmas offer at:

www.pipex.co.uk

off the link 'broadband offers. It does seem quite tempting but you lock
yourself in for a year and have to pay the outstanding subscription if you
quit before the year's out.

The integral phone use to 01 and 02 numbers looks quite good though. I just
wonder if anyone has opted for such a package with this or any other
provider. How do you think the cost stacks up and do you think there are
substantial savings to be made over what BT charges? (I mention BT because
the Pipex offer assumes you do have a BT line.)
