[access-uk] Re: BT Internet Mail from the Canaries

Using port 587 for outgoing servers when I am outside the UK has never
failed me. Admittedly I've never had my mail with BT but it worked for me
with couple other hosts. Using the outgoing servers of the ISP which they
are connecting through in the Canaries might well sort out the issue too.

Hope it works for them.

Subject: [access-uk] BT Internet Mail from the Canaries

With dozens of btinternet users here, I'm hoping one of you might be able to
advise here.

An associate in the Canaries can receive e-mail, but is unable to send.

Both POP3 and SMTP servers, which work here OK in the UK, are set to
"mail.btinternet.com".

Any suggestions as to where to begin looking?

George.
