Greetings,

When my (late) mother used to take in paying guests, we had one chap
staying, who, due to a viral infection, completely lost all hearing. He
used to ware something which rested on the bones behind his ears and could
hear far as we could judge, normally. the only missing function was
positional - having been able to hear before, he could explain when he heard
anything, it sounded as if it was in the middle of his head rather like when
listening to mono on stereo phones.

I nevere actually handled them, so must assume these are bone-touch
headphones. This chap stayed with us back in 1988 and I assume technology
has advanced greatly since then, in miniaturization, if nothing else.

Even though we are now well past Christmas Day and
into the New Year, my desires for you and yours at
this time of the year will still be found in my
signature.

Colin Howard, living near Southampton in Southern
England, hopes all have enjoyed a blessed Christmas
day and are having a peaceful, prosperous and happy
2013, remember the Babe of Bethlehem is not the end of
this story, for when he grew up, he died on a cross
shedding his blood, so we could be absolved from sin
and so have the relationship with our creator, he
always intended for us.
