So, did you alter your address with those groups to which you were
subscribed or just give up before you got to that stage?

Carol,
I tried to change over to gmail, but, as I was subscribed to various lists
and website forums, for some reason I could not use gmail and I had to use
googlemail address as I initially subscribed with this. I had to go back to
googlemail. Perhaps I was making mistake somewhere along the process - I'll
stick with googlemail.

I know it gets there but still can't get any personal experience of those
web sites where a mail address has had to be altered to be used.

Hi Carol,
You don't need to do anything. If I write to you at your address at Gmail
dot Com or Googlemail Dot Com, it would still get there. Try sending
yourself an Email to gmail.com and I bet you get it.

Hi all,
I've thought, from time to time, of changing my Googlemail (original)
address to GMAil, and take a look at the "Help" which, to me, is no real
help at all. The "Help" just says something about clicking on the Gmail tab
of your account, but I don't seem to understand exactly what I have to do
... so cry off!
However, I'd like to ask if anyone else has changed their original address
from Googlemail to GMAIL and, if so, if they have had to re-register with
all the other addresses where they have previously used Googlemail? That is
one of the things that really puts me off.
Any help or experiences would be useful.
