Hi Eleanor

But Argos is different in this regard as it is more a catalogue shop where
you browse the product you are looking for in a book, take the product
number down, then submit it to the desk. I know staff will bring down items
for inspection, but they don't let you try them out to my knowledge. John
Lewis, on the other hand, is somewhere that does do as you say, and are very
helpful.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Maybe I am wrong but I have been under the impression that a blind person
going in to a store has the right to feel murchandise which a sighted person
can see. Certainly the John Lewis Stores will open a product and let me
feel it, no matter what the product and they usually have demo models in
their electrical department.
