[access-uk] Compress drive to save disk space?

Hi, should I compress my drive to save disk space? Or is that an accessibility
nightmare?
I have no idea why I seem to have filled up all 55 gigs on my hard disk. I just
don't seem to have loaded up enough and need tips too!
