Hi Richard.
        Its not possible now to download programs from the BBC for later 
listening,
though the BBC keeps past shows for 7 days. However, you can record a show
while it is being streamed into your computer.  Its quite easy actually if
you use a piece  of software called GoldWave. You might want to get a copy
of this program, then join the GoldWave users list. I'm not sure if its on
Yahoo or where, but someone will direct you, I'm sure. There are also
excellent Goldwave tutorials on the For The People's web page. On top of
this you might want to consider joining PC Audio, which is another list that
might prove invaluable.
