Hi Roger This is the way I put website icons onto the desktop. I know there are others, but I have found this works: 1. Add the website to my favourites 2. Use Windows Explorer to go to the Favourites folder 3. Use Windows Explorer to find the website in the Favourites folder 4. Use Send To to put it onto the Desktop Incidentally, I also have a shortcut to my Favourites folder on my Desktop, and I have changed the spelling of Favourites to English rather than American. Good luck!
