alt+f4should put skype in your sysstray and out of the way. It will, however, pop up when you recieve a call but you can then minimize it to the systray again. You can also create a hotkey to toggle skype from the systray into focus and back again. This is found in skype's options dialog in the hotkey section.I do not have access to a win 7 machine but would assume this behavior to be the same across windows versions.hth Doris At 05:30 PM 4/9/2010 +0100, you wrote:Hi, I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Using Windows 7 and Skype 4.2, does anyone know how I can stop Skype appearing as a window in the Taskbar and Alt+Tab list? I just want it to stay in the System Tray when I close the Skype window, rather than it appear every time I'm switching through open application windows. I've checked but can't seem to find the setting to disable this. Thanks for any tips. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein.
