John,

I know how to do the CD bit and can manage to sync iPhone so I don't need any instruction there. A proper teaching of ITunes just might do it but otherwise I'll go on following my nose, struggling and hope I don't lose any music. (It's all backed up in various places so I'm safe enough, even if dangerous!)

Trouble is, we have lots of music and we're still having to put some on to computer from time to time. If you purchase from ITunes it's easy enough to get it onto the Cloud, but not so straightforward if you have to copy CD's.

0was That's enough of ITunes for me if there's another option and there
0was obviously
0was is so far as books are concerned, so I'll take it.

0was If you use Voice Dream Reader, you don't have to use iTunes. iTunes
0was isn't
0was really so bad once you get used to it.

0was Thanks, Iain, for your helpful comments.
0was
0was Pity I don't like ITunes either and use it only when I really have to!

0was You don't need to use a computer, but it is probably better if you
0was do.
0was If you want to read Overdrive books using an iPhoneeaI would recommend
0was using
0was an app such as Voice Dream Reader to do the job, having first downloaded
0was the
0was book on to your computer. This in my view makes the reading much easier
0was than
0was with the Overdrive app.

0was Hi all,
0was
0was I'm specifically interested to know if any of you do download your
0was books
0was from OverDrive directly onto the IPhone and, if so, how the whole process 0was works when selecting files for download, getting the utility etc. This 0was would not be my preferred method, but I am interested to know how easy
0was this
0was process is for those using IPhones or do you really need to be using a
0was computer first to get the books you want?
0was
0was Sorry, but I haven't followed all this thread and now need to know
0was facts
0was before I possibly have a go at this for myself.
