Hi Derek.Email isn't a secure means of communication. For one thing, emails are plane text in their nature, so unless your using encryption and I don't mean SSL encryption on your computer to communicate with your mail server, the email will be sent over the net as a standard plane text message. Anyone intercepting the email either deliberately or accidentally will have a clear read of your details and will go for your wallet if they're dishonest. My advice to you, don't ever submit credit card or other sensitive information via email, there are plenty of other secure ways of doing this.
All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Derek Hornby" <derek.hornby_uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi All I am aware that it's not a good idea to put credit card details in an email. But what's the actual reason. I mean surely the chances of an email correctly addressed, Going to the wrong address, is less likely compared to postal mail Being delivered to wrong address!
