Hello,

I was looking in the Administrative Tools, Event Viewer in Control Panel and
found the following error listed in the System section:

The Psion WaveFinder Service service failed to start due to the following
error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.

I clicked on the link which is supposed to give further information, but
none was available.

I used to have a Psion Wavefinder running off this PC, but when I installed
XP SP2, it would no longer work so I uninstalled it. This has obviously not
quite got rid of all references to the device in my system, but I'm not sure
where to look to try and find out where this service is being started. Does
anyone have any advice about how I can get rid of the remaining references
to the Wavefinder? I hope I don't have to edit the registry!

Thanks,

Caroline.
