Hi,

To be fair, we've sometimes noticed that the AD information doesn't always
appear in the product details section, but is visible on the graphical
information on the front cover. Sometimes again, only the front cover is
displayed, but the information is written in small print on the back cover, and
that isnot shown. So, in our experience, the information on Amazon about
whether a given DVD has audio description can be somewhat hit-and-miss at times.

I'd also like to see more awareness in High Street retail outlets of the value
of A D to us, so that they know to avoid covering up the small print A D
notification tag with buy one get one free stickers and the like.

Best,
Clive

Best,
Clive

Ian,

You do not say where you bought the DVDs from.

On Amazon there is an indication on the DVD information showing that AD is
available where that is the case.

You might try looking at the place you purchased them from.

Regards, John

Hi Ian,

They usually have it written on the back of the DVD case.  It will probably say
AD.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

All the best

Steve

Hi all, I recently bought all three seasons of the HBO TV show The sopranos on
DVD.  Unfortunately it does not appear to be possible to read the opening
screen with VO when I watch them on my iMac.  And I have not managed to find
any way of discovering whether or not AD is available on the disks.  Can anyone
advise  where I might go looking for it with some sighted assistance?
