Subject: Vocalizer TTS v1.0.0 released

Dear All,

We'd like to take this opportunity to announce a new addition to the Code
Factory product range: Nuance Vocalizer Expressive TTS for Android!

A while ago when we released ETI-Eloquence, a lot of users requested the
Vocalizer Expressive voices. In alignment with our commitment to the
development of apps for Blind and Low vision users, we have just reached
another milestone. The idea is to continue the same high standards established
with Eloquence. We are eager to hear your feedback and suggestions.

All Android devices from 4.0 onwards are supported.

To use Vocalizer, follow the steps below:

- Download the application “Vocalizer Text-to-Speech” from Play Store, it’s
available for free with in-app purchases in the following link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.codefactory.vocalizertts

- Once you download and install the app, you need to open the app and then
purchase / install the voices. Note that there are audio samples for each voice
for you to try before purchasing.

- Please note that before you purchase a voice, you are not required to select
the Vocalizer TTS under Android Settings as there are no voices installed.

- Open the Vocalizer Voices app and check the list of languages (44 Languages
are supported at the moment).

- Select a language of your choice to see the list of voices.

- Use the “Listen to a sample” button to hear a voice sample before purchasing.

- To purchase a voice (In-app Google Purchase), click on the “Purchase voice”
button.

- Follow the purchase process (easy and similar to other in-app purchase
processes).

- Once the purchase is complete, you will notice a screen asking you to select
the voice quality.

- Please note: you can change the voice quality in the future by deleting the
voice data and then starting the download again.

- After selecting the voice quality, wait for the download to complete. You may
exit the app but to install the voice you must open the Vocalizer Voices
application again and wait for the installation to complete. The download
progress can be checked from the system notifications.

- Repeat the process to purchase and download more voices.

- After downloading and installing at least one voice, go to Android Settings >
Language & input > Text to Speech output and select Vocalizer TTS. Confirm the
prompts.

Vocalizer Settings: You can check the settings from the Vocalizer Voices
application as well as from Android Settings > Language & input > Text to
Speech output > Vocalizer TTS Settings button > Settings for Vocalizer TTS. The
options are self explanatory and they are very similar to those in
ETI-Eloquence.
