Hi Janet.

I think most people would agree that Sky is just one of those things people have, whether they watch it or not. I pay for the privilege of the movies as well as all entertainment packs costing me £40 a month yet you'll be lucky to catch me watching 2 or 3 movies in one month and not above a dozen in a whole year. This sounds like an enormous waste of money to any reasonable person *smile*, yet whenever I've plucked up the courage to cancel, a movie always comes up within a day or a week that I want to watch, and I find that having all the entertainment channels if nothing else gives me something to watch in those odd few hours that I can be bothered to watch it *smile*.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Yes, I love my Discovery Channels and I don't really want to lose them by
using either Freesat or Freeview and cancelling my Sky subscription.

But we'd save a lot of money per month if we did get rid of Sky.

Shame discovery etc. are not on the freeview platform or else I would go for
that goodmans box with ease

Am wondering if you could have both at the same time. I've got Sky at

together.

It is similar to freeview but you use the sky dish as apposed to the
television Ariel.

Hello all.
What are the differences please? Is there a talking box equivalent to
the one for Freeview? What are the costs and benefits compared to
Freeview?
Many thanks in advance.
Take care.
