Hi Ibrahim, I know exactly what you mean, we've got everything so it's £50 a month, but we do watch it quite a bit, so for the moment I think we'll stick with our "little luxury" (smile). I think most people would agree that Sky is just one of those things people have, whether they watch it or not. I pay for the privilege of the movies as well as all entertainment packs costing me £40 a month yet you'll be lucky to catch me watching 2 or 3 movies in one month and not above a dozen in a whole year. This sounds like an enormous waste of money to any reasonable person *smile*, yet whenever I've plucked up the courage to cancel, a movie always comes up within a day or a week that I want to watch, and I find that having all the entertainment channels if nothing else gives me something to watch in those odd few hours that I can be bothered to watch it *smile*. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janet Tuggey" <janet@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 12, 2010 10:09 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Freesat versus freeview > Yes, I love my Discovery Channels and I don't really want to lose them by > using either Freesat or Freeview and cancelling my Sky subscription. > > But we'd save a lot of money per month if we did get rid of Sky. > Janet & Wheat, the silly Shepherd cross > -----Original Message----- > From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf > Of > william lomas > Sent: 12 November 2010 10:06 > To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [access-uk] Re: Freesat versus freeview > > Shame discovery etc. are not on the freeview platform or else I would go > for > that goodmans box with ease > > On Nov 12, 2010, at 10:04 AM, Janet Tuggey wrote: > >> Am wondering if you could have both at the same time.
