Hi James.

Go external mate. For one thing, you'll drain battery power faster if you use the internal gps, and you can get much better overall performance with a dedicated gps receiver. At the moment, Talknav are doing the G66 Plus which has both gps and assisted gps, effectively guaranteeing you gps coverage because if it can't get a satellite fix, you'll have the benefit of assisted gps triangulation which is accurate to within about 10 metres or so.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] GPS on N82?

Hi all,

Would people recommend that I use the built-in GPS on the N82 or an external receiver? I ask because I've heard mixed reports.
