Hi Fran,
OK, well another thing you can do, is when you hear a trailer for a program
you want to record, hit the Green key on the remote, and it should be
recorded for you.

If you are wanting to record on a schedule, this is tricky without something
like the iPhone TV Plus app.
If you just want to record the programme that is coming on, just hit the
record button when you hear it.
