Hi George et al,

I looked on the HP website and found the series 1000. Under Windows 7
however it seemed to be not available, but will try again later. Thanks.

I then had trouble with my laptop, where it says that IE8 had a problem and
the tab had to be reloaded; it would not allow access to the Blackboard at
University.

The Tech guys loaded on Firefox, but it closed Firefox when the page was
trying to be accessed. The processor was running at 35 to 50% capacity,
which is high, even for JFW! It is an I3 Toshiba laptop, 4Gb ram.....

It seemed that single pop up windows would work alright, but multiple pop up
pages were blocked/caused the problem. They had never seen the like of it
before..... Anyone?

They were looking at a .dll file, I think it was _flash something acr.dll.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

You will need to know the exact model number since there are various in the
1000 series. Certainly it appears that some models will work with Windows 7
64 bit, but without that finer detail, it's impossible to be certain either
which way.

George.

Hello,

I have an old HP series 1000 laserjet printer. Is there any chance that I
can get a driver for Windows 7 64bit?

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,

Mike

In a previous post I said that there weren't any single keystrokes to get to
contacts etc in windows live mail 2011, and described a method using
f6 and
arrow keys. I've just found out that that in fact there are single
keystrokes
available: ctrl+1 for mail, ctrl+2 for calender, ctrl+3 for contacts,
ctrl+4
for feeds, and ctrl+5 for newsgroups.
I found this out when having a look at outlook 2010, which has a roughly
similar

layout to wlm 2011. Unlike wlm, there is help available for outlook which
includes all the available shortcuts. It uses ctrl+1 etc, and I guessed that
these might also work in wlm 2011.

David.
