Ibby, I had this once before, my hubby got it out for me when the Electricity was Off so it was running on its battery, he slid a very thin knife close to the top, where you imagine the cd label would be, not on the writable side. Bobs your uncle, it popped out, I had a cd lable on it and the thing tot jammed, maybe it was a local library sticker. Never had the problem again though. Good luck, worth trying, but Don't have the mains power on for goodness sake!
