The only thing you can do is change the system date. This is far from satisfactory in my opinion. Press the menu key. Arrow until you hear it say "system setting". press the Enter button and arrow till you hear "setting the system time". Press the Enter button and you can then set the system year. Unfortunately this is the only solution.
