Further to my earlier below message...When the Touch is connected to the pc,
Itunes throws up a message saying "was unable to back up your IPod. This was
because Itunes was not able to start a session with the IPod."

This only became a problem last night, when after connecting the IPod Touch,
Itunes told me there was a software upgrade [4.3.2] for the IPod. I clicked yes
for the upgrade, that's when I got the first message about Itunes not being
able to start a session with the IPod.

I'm afraid that my IPod touch might have died? -

  Hello all -

Got my Touch hooked up to my PC, and Itunes running.

Usually when I open the 'devices' level of the tree view, it says the IPod
name, and charging battery, and what the percentage charge is. However this
time, although Itunes can see my IPod, it doesn't seem to be charging the
battery. With the actual IPod itself, I have no sound, as if the battery is
completely dead [it may well have fully run down] usually when I hook it up, it
starts charging immediately. Using the wall charger makes no difference either.

  Anybody experienced this?

  Andy
