Hi Douglas,

I very much doubt it. I have tried to make sure that there is as little
risk as possible to members, by blocking attachments, and converting
messages to plain text, plus freelists themselves have virus checking in
place.

When I went to the Wanadoo web site, I got the following warning.
"Spybot-S&D reports that you want to download "DoubleClick". This is a
known threat. Do you want to BLOCK this download".

Needless to say, I don't, and I did.

George.

George,
As a user of Spybotsd 1.3, will this have any effect on my system simply
by receiving mail from a Freelists list? Or is your warning purely
concerned with visiting the site you mention?
Sorry if I am being a little "Thick" this morning.
