[access-uk] Kurzweil Problem

Hello
I have Kurzweil version ten on my pc, running Windows XP home. Of late I have
had a couple of problems when scanning. When I first begin, the scan is
usually accurate, but after a few pages I seem to get a lot of rubbish,
sometimes with the message that the confidence level is ... I have done the
usual, checking settings, ensuring that the bed of my Epson Perfection is clean
etc, but the problem persists. As a last resort, I uninstalled the program and
have just installed it again. Now, when I go into settings and try to alter
the voices, the program stops and an error message appears, with the choice of
Send or Don't Send. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what to try next?
Is there a user's group for Kurzweil which might be of use?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
