From what I understand, the UK version of the phone is the one with the
proper 8 MP camera. There is also a middle eastern model which is cheaper
and comes with a lower spec 3 mp camera. You'll need to be careful when
buying one and make sure that it's the UK model.

Thanks for the very comprehensive review. One thing, though. Are we sure
about the 8 MP camera? Everything I've read quotes a 3 MP camera so I
didn't investigate further as I knew I couldn't use KNFB reader with that
camera resolution. I'm quite interested, mainly because of the physical
buttons, but only if I can be sure that it does, in fact, have an 8 MP
camera.
