Hi.

Yes, the idea and the concept are brilliant, but not everyone has their card
reader to hand or even their card for that matter. If you don't have either
one or the other, you can't complete some transactions.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Barclays have something similar, you put your card into a machine, entre your
pin and are given a code to input. You use the system to log in and to
transfer money and set up a standing order. As long as you have your machine
handy its simple and I can use the talking one fine.

    Hi guys.

If you think you have it bad *smile*, Nationwide now has card reader
security. You have to use a special card reader which they issue you, also
your debit card and pin to confirm transactions you want to make. I had this
happen to me the other day though its totally random.

      Hi

Here is the information from the Lloyds Webb site.

What is the new security procedure?

When you set up a new recipient, credit card payment or standing order,
we may call you to make sure the instruction is genuinely coming from you. All
you'll need is a telephone near you. You'll be able to choose which number we
call you on, provided it's a number we already hold for you. You'll receive an
automated call asking you to confirm details about your transaction and then to
enter a four digit number that will appear on your computer screen into your
telephone keypad. The whole process will take less than a minute and you can
see it on our demo .

Please make sure your contact details are up-to-date: log on to Internet
Banking, then select Personal Details from the left-hand menu.
